Hours after we got wind of Forrest Whitaker returning to a galaxy far far away in the upcoming show Andor, it just got a whole lot better.
According to reliable sources close to The Direct, Ben Mendelsohn of Rouge One, The Dark Knight Rises and Captain Marvel is set to reprise the role of Orson Krennic in the upcoming Andor series. He will likely be playing a younger version of himself who might not yet be appointed to Director Krennic as he was in Rouge One. We don't know how many episodes he will return for or in what capacity. All we know is that Krennic is back
Andor, starting Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Genevieve O'Reilly, Forest Whitaker and Ben Mendelsohn is currently filming for a 2022 release on Disney+ and will consist of 12 episodes.
